Yvonne Hits Big Time

A not so popular actress is tipped for stardom after she won a lead role in a upcoming TV darama in American Company.

Yvonne Strzechowski is aged 25 from Maroubra, Before this she has played only minor roles in the short soap Headland and Channel Nine's drama which was also hit before she took her flight to Los Angeles last year to try her luck there.

Within one week she was offered a role in Chuck, a new, prime-time not an entertainment but science-fiction series which was starting on NBC next week. Channel Nine will be showing it here.

Strzechowski plays the role of a lead female of CIA agent Sarah Walker. Chuck follows the fortunes of a computer geek who, via an encoded email, has the world's greatest spy secrets embedded in his brain.

The actor, studying at Theatre Nepean in the University of Western Sydney admitted that its more exciting than anything else. It's pretty good feeling here driving around and seeing the billboards which are talking about the serial.
